Personal, or Private Duty Care
Personal care services provide seniors and disabled individuals with compassionate assistance for activities of daily living, which may be difficult or unsafe for these individuals to perform on their own. Also referred to as private duty care, these services cover personal activities, like dressing and bathing, and homemaking tasks, like meal preparation and light housekeeping.
With private duty home care from European Service®, your loved one can remain in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible. We create a customized care plan for every client and we will carefully match your loved one with a caregiver who is uniquely qualified to provide care for their needs. Our services will give your loved one the support they deserve and give you the peace of mind you desperately need. |
Trained Staff
All of our Caregivers are compassionate and experienced home care service professionals. Our pre-employment screening process includes drug testing, reference checks and a thorough criminal background check.

Respite Care
Caring for a loved one is one of the most generous and caring things you can do. Whether you’re caring for an Elder parents or a disabled sibling, you’re providing the assistance they need to continue living safely at home. But what do you do when you need a break? The in-home respite care program from European Service® is here to help.
Being a family caregiver is a rewarding, yet demanding role. To provide the best possible care, you need to be sure you are also taking good care of yourself. Attending to your own diet, incorporating exercise, taking breaks, and looking after your emotional well-being is essential. Many family caregivers find it difficult to spend time focusing on their own needs, when their loved one is the focus of their attention. Respite care allows you to disengage for a few hours or a few days to rest and recharge. |
How Respite Care Helps
At European Service, our in-home care program matches your loved one with one of our friendly and compassionate caregivers. Caregivers can visit for a few hours a day or several times a week to provide family caregivers with the opportunity to run errands, go to work, take a vacation, or simply rest and recharge.
When our caregivers visit, they will quickly put your loved one at ease. While engaging in friendly conversation, caregivers can also provide assistance with a wide variety of home care needs. Our caregivers can help your loved one with dressing and bathing, transferring assistance, and other personal care needs. They can also help around the house performing simple chores and preparing healthy meals. The engaged care we provide makes it easy for your loved one to look forward to these visits and can help relieve the anxiety or guilt you may feel by stepping away for a few hours. |
How To Get Started In Home CareIf you’ve been feeling burnt out or are finding yourself feeling frustrated with your caregiver role, now is a good time to consider in-home care. Taking care of yourself is vitally important. Respite care provides the break you need to rest and regroup.
Getting started is easy. Simply get in touch with one of our home care offices 1(630)785-2521. We can match your loved one with a caregiver who can provide the assistance they need. Respite care is offered on an hourly basis so you can establish the frequency and scope of care that best meets your needs. Because our home care services are flexible, should your loved one require more engaged care in the future, we can expand our role to include companion care and personal care. |
Elderly Companion Care services include meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands and shopping, and of course, companionship. If your family member, friend, or loved one enjoys their independence but is struggling with everyday activities, elderly companion care is the solution. Everyone needs companionship, and all of us need a helping hand every now and again. Unfortunately, these needs are often heightened for elderly adults. Many seniors struggle with elderly isolation, a condition that is strongly linked with poor emotional and physical health. Other seniors have to cope with age-related difficulties, which make it hard to perform everyday tasks and activities.
Our elderly companion care services provide the social interaction and helping hand many seniors need to live happily and comfortably at home. Companion care is perfect for elderly adults who live alone or far from family, providing the company, conversation, and security of a dedicated care companion. These services can also be a lifeline for seniors who no longer have the energy, motivation, or physical well-being to live comfortably without assistance. Seniors aren’t the only ones whose lives are improved by this type of care. Family caregivers can find respite, relief, and peace of mind by hiring a care companion. |
